The Minstrel Players Theatre Company of Northport Village continues their 2009 Season with a Fall production of Tim Kelly's adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic Sherlock Holmes mystery, "The Hound Of the Baskervilles". As autumn days grow shorter, the list of November's live performances grows longer. I look forward to attending many of the local shows. Don't forget to leave room on your calendars as well.

After a week to catch my breath, I'll be heading out to see Ray Palen and the Minstrel Players for Sherlock Holmes in "The Hound of the Baskervilles." The Palen family has theatre in their blood and roots in Queens. It's a long drive to their venue in Northport but certainly with the trip.

Phew. I've barely scratched the surface. The fact is, there are many more than nine new shows in November. Make it your business to see more than one.

As always, save me a seat on the aisle.
