The Minstrel Players Announce Special Valentine's Day Production

The Minstrel Players Theater Company of Northport, Long Island's most exciting theatrical group, prepares for a special Valentine's Day performance at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village. They will be staging a production of A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters" on Saturday, February 14th at 7:30 P.M. 

"Love Letters" is directed by Minstrel founding member, Tara Lawrence, and features an intimate cast of two actors: Karen Ottomano (Melissa Gardner) and Armand Catenaro (Andrew Makepeace Ladd III). "Love Letters" is a unique and imaginative piece that is comprised of the two characters reading letters to each other that they have exchanged over a lifetime. The story that unfolds describes two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to stay in touch and share confidences. What is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny and telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down. The Minstrel Players staging of "Love Letters", which will feature a special gift basket raffle and free Valentine's treats, should make for a romantic St. Valentine's Day evening at the theatre!
