Alli Abbott: Alli is excited to be in her first production with the Minstrel Players. She has previously performed with her school drama club in "Annie", "Fiddler On the Roof" and "The Music Man". Alli is currently an 8th Grade student who enjoys singing and dancing in her free time. Thanks to Mom and Dad for their encouragement and support.

Miranda Rose Abbott: Miranda is thrilled to be appearing in "A Christmas Carol". Her previous holiday productions include "The Nutcracker" and "Gifts For the Grinch". She also appeared as Gretl in "The Sound of Music". Love to Dad and Mom!

Jason Allyn:  Jason is happy to return to a role he has once played before. Other favorite roles include Horton in "Seussical: The Musical", Moonface Martin in "Anything Goes", Doody in "Grease", Bella Zangler in "Crazy For You", The Specialist in "Tommy", Charlie Brown in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Rev. Mother in "Nunsence Ah-men", Marcellus in "The Music Man", and Dimas" in "Triumph of Love". Jason is happy to be once again sharing the stage with best friend David, it's been a while. Much love to his Mother and father for always supporting him, love and thanks to; Carlyn my personal "Glinda", both Jens (who I can't seem to find), Babs, Ray, Debbie, and Miss Karen and thanks to Tara (my non romantic life partner) for once again giving him another chance, even though craziness ensues.

Raj Belani: Raj graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School East and tried out St. John's University. After realizing that he wanted to pursue acting for a while, he put education on hold and ran his father's production company for a while. He made his debut stage performance with the Broadhollow Theater Company as Ali Hakim in Rodger's & Hammerstein's "Oklahoma!". Now, after loving stage acting so much, he's trying it again as Max Halliday in the Minstrel Player's "Dial 'M' For Murder".

Katie Brooks: Katie Brooks has appeared onstage in the ensemble of various productions at St. Paul's Centerstage and has also performed monologues before student workshop performances of "RENT" on Broadway. She earned a Masters in Anglo-Irish Literature at Trinity College Dublin and is a professor of English at Five Towns College. Katie is a seasoned rugby player, having founded/captained the Hofstra University Women's Rugby Football Club, and has played scrumhalf for both Trinity College Ladies Football and Carrickfergus Women's Rugby. She is brought to you in part by the letter T and viewers like you.

Justine Frankenstein (F.2006)

Karen Cambria: This is Karen's first performance with The Minstrel Players. She is happy to be back on stage after a six year break. Karen was an original member of New York City's Waterloo Bridge Theatre Company. Some of her previous roles include Hermia in "A Midsummer Night's Dream", Mindy in "Minx Catches a Cab" and Toni in "Efflourescently Yours". Karen played the role of Claudia on the soap opera Another World from 1995-1999. She has also appeared on Saturday Night Live as an under-5.

Toni Caracci: Toni is thrilled to be working on "Dial M for Murder" with this wonderful company. She most recently appeared in the East Coast Premiere of "The Cat's Meow" with Hofstra USA Productions and her favorite stage credits include: "The Shape of Things", "The Glass Menagerie", "Boy Gets Girl", "Five Women Wearing the Same Dress", "The Real Inspector Hound", "Perfect Wedding", "The Tempest", "Chicago", "Baby and the Bathwater", "The Adding Machine", "Strength Speaks" and "Check Me Out", a finalist in the Riant Theatre's Strawberry One-Act Festival in August 2004.

Dave Chura: Dave is thrilled to be making his debut with The Minstrel Players in multiple parts in "A Christmas Carol". He is a graduate of Stony Brook University (BA, Theatre) and some recent stage credits include: Mowgli in "The Jungle Book", Zebulun in "Joseph", Rick in "Six Degrees of Separation" and Prince Christopher in "Cinderella". Brian C. Cornelius: Brian is the administrative assistant for the BroadHollow Theatre Company, where he recently made his Long Island theatre debut as "Mike" in "Lovers and Other Strangers". A graduate of Washington College in Maryland, he majored in Drama and minored in Creative Writing, and wrote and produced an original play, a thriller entitled "Cloak & Dagger", for his thesis. Favorite roles include "Oleanna" (John), "Over the River and Through the Woods" (Nick), and "Unequalibrium" (Manny).

Paul DeGrocco: This is Paul's first show with the Minstrel Players. When he's not hopping around on the stage as the cowardly lion in the "Wizard of Oz," or narrating an entire show in "A Christmas Story," Paul can be seen all over Long Island as the On-Field Promotions Host/Community Relations Manager for the Long Island Ducks baseball team and as the On-Field/On-Court Promotions host for the Stony Brook Seawolves.

Buddy Baker Come Blow Your Horn (W.2006)

Crystal Demma: Crystal's previous performances were last year's production of "A Christmas Carol", where she also played the boy and some other female roles. She was also in a play, "Chicken Soup with Rice" in 2000, and a dance recital for North Shore Studio of Dance. She plays clarinet and has been in several competitions. Currently she is studying dance and ballet at a Dance School here in Northport. She plans to continue her stage career.

Irene Demma: Irene was last seen on the Minstrel stage as Peggy in "Come Blow Your Horn" and Flora in "A Christmas Carol". Irene did set design and stage crew during many performances for the Ward Melville Players, including "Fiddler on the Roof", "Bye Bye Birdie" and many more. Irene Studied dance at Long Island Dance Academy. She also plays classical and jazz flute.

Molly Devlin: Molly is thrilled to be working with the Minstrel Players on the famous holiday tradition of "A Christmas Carol!" It is her first drama. This past Spring she appeared in the Bellmore Players production of "The Sound of Music." Molly loves the theater and brings her enthusiasm to the stage. Lisa Di Carlo: Lisa is happy to a part of a Minstrel Players production. September marked her third year of being part of the acting community. Lisa was last seen in "A Midsummer Nights Dream" (Helena) at the Author's Playhouse in Bay Shore. Debra Dommasch:  Debra is thrilled to be making her debut with the Minstrel Players. Some of her favorite previous shows include: "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" (Ruth), "Man of La Mancha" (Maria), "I Played With Dolls When I Was Young" (Kay), "Tartuffe" (Dorine) and "The Fantasticks" (Luisa). She earned her BA in Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College and currently teaches theatre and directs at McGann-Mercy High School. Debra is also a proud Depeche Mode fan and her performance as Wendy is inspired by their music.

Dennis Dudley: Dennis has just finished harassing the cast and the director on "Frankenstein" and finds the more he works on the shows the more he enjoys it. He still enjoys the backstage and the physical work of building sets and helping with all those things that make the theatre what it is. Now he can often be found wandering back stage looking for his cigar and bottle of Jameson's. He considers himself fortunate for being able to work with a group of people that really appreciate and live for great community theatre. His partners in crime, Cody Freyer (Super Crewperson) and Robert Cashman make the crew work go smoothly. One of these days he will be able to tell the difference between stage left and stage right. He got involved with the Minstrel Players by marriage and has enjoyed the hell out of it because of his association with "some really dynamite people". LET'S GO PLAYAS!!!!!!!

Phil Gellis: Although this is Phil’s debut with The Minstrel Players, it’s hardly his first exposure to the works of Neil Simon. All told, this the 8th Simon play Phil has either performed in or directed (or both). A veteran of some 85 roles throughout Long Island theater, Phil’s favorite roles include Jake in “Jake’s Women,” Oscar Madison and Murray the Cop in “The Odd Couple,” Pseudolus and Hysterium in “...Forum,” Nicely-Nicely in “Guys and Dolls,” Mr. Mushnik in “Little Shop of Horrors” and, in over 100 performances in 7 different productions over the past 20 years, Sancho in “Man of La Mancha.” He has also directed over two dozen shows, including Simon’s “Barefoot in the Park,” “Come Blow Your Horn” and “The Gingerbread Lady.” Phil just completed a tour of many of Long Island’s parks as “old’ Joe Boyd in “Damn Yankees.” He wishes to express his gratitude to everyone at Minstrel Players for their willingness to schedule rehearsals around his sometimes-crazy tour schedule. Phil had the pleasure in 1975 of seeing Vincent Gardenia and Charles Nelson Reilly in "God's Favorite" on Broadway. He dedicates his performance to both their memories.

Jef. Lawrence: Jef. has been with the Minstrels since their inception way back at the dawn of the Millennium. As Director, Jef. brought "The Uninvited" hauntingly to life and has also contributed many creative imaginings, including music and the Minstrel website apparel. He was last seen on the Minstrel stage as a "Richard E. Grantian" Bob Cratchit in "A Christmas Carol". Previous roles include: Gerald Croft in "An Inspector Calls", Axel Magee in "Don't Drink the Water". He's also played such characters as the facially scarred Jonathan Brewster in "Arsenic and Old Lace", the romantically bewitched Shepherd Henderson in "Bell, Book and Candle", and the Jimmy Stewart-inspired reporter Bert Jefferson in "The Man Who Came to Dinner". Other L.I. productions include "The Mercy Seat", "Joseph", "Death of a Salesman", and "Laughter on the 23rd Floor", as well as performing in children's theatre productions of "Mr. Easter Bunny", "Charlotte's Web" and "The Wizard of Oz".

Leonard Leventon: Lenny was recently seen in "Everything in the Garden" at the Arena Players Theater, and has been in numerous off-Broadway productions. He is the author of five novels, and is a singer/songwriter. He currently is shopping his screenplay, NU BABE N TOWN around Hollywood.

Ghost(Past)/Old Joe/Belle's Husband A Christmas Carol (W.2005)

Aamira Martinez: Aamira made her stage debut at the age of 13 as Betty in "Transformation". Throughout High School, she continued to pursue acting and played the lead and supporting roles in numerous school plays. She was also awarded the Governor's Honors Award for acting. Upon graduation, her love of acting brought her to New York where she was a theater major at Hofstra University. After Hofstra, she continued her studies at HB Studios and then TVI Studios. She is a member of a Children's Repertory Company and can be seen in such roles as: Anne in "The Diary of Anne Frank" and Babette in "Beauty and the Beast". Previous stage credits include: Fern in "Charlotte's Web", Guildenstern in "Hamlet", Abigail in "The Crucible", Labilia in "The Wishing Tree", and Billie in "Haiku". She also performed improvisational skits at the New York Comedy Club. Her interests do not stop at the stage; Aamira has also been involved in several independent films and promotional videos for such companies as Verizon and Fuse.  Thank you to a wonderful cast and director, and to Mike, her "Lucky"star.

Shelby Steel Magnolias (Sp.2006)

Jennifer Manvich: Jennifer is thrilled to be making her debut with The Minstrel Players. She received her M.F.A. degree in Acting Performance from Ohio State University. She also received a B.F.A. in Voice Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. Jennifer has been performing professionally for several years and past credits include: Dr. Doris Donovan in The Project Theatre's Off-Broadway hit, "Confessions of a Wonderbabe" and the lead role of Amy in the original play, "Bring Down the House" at the Veil Leavitt Theatre. Jennifer most recently starred in "Promises" at Author's Playhouse - an original work she co-produced. She has just returned from touring a "A Midsummer Nights Dream" through the East Coast.

Ginny Parker: Ginny is making her debut with the Minstrel Players. She has been a long time fan of The Minstrel Players and is happy to finally be on stage with them. She was a child wrangler for "A Christmas Carol 2004" and enjoyed the cast party for "A Christmas Carol 2005". Ginny is the Warden for Trinity Episcopal Church and is an attorney as well.

Dominick Raffaele: Although Dominick Raffaele is only 10 years old, he has had many key rolls in Community Theaters on Long Island. He has performed in "Beauty and the Beast", "The Jungle Book" and "The Wizard of Oz". He is currently performing as "Baby Rudolph" in "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" in addition to playing "Billy" in "School House Rock". When Dominick is not performing or doing school work, he loves swimming, singing and dancing or just hanging out with his family and friends.

Nick Santasier: Nick is happy to be returning to the Minstrel Players. Some of you may remember him as the heavily bandaged Mr. Kilroy in "Don't Drink the Water". LI credits include Rogers "Ten Little Indians", Pablo Gonzalez and Young Collector "A Streetcar Named Desire", Richard Stanley "The Man Who Came to Dinner", and is a member of the Broadhollow Educational Repertory Group where he performed in "Sleepy Hollow", "A Christmas Carol", "Charlotte's Web", among other shows. He is a graduate of Niagara University where he received a BFA in Theatre Studies and performed in 16 productions. On occasion he is also a playwright, director, and fight choreographer. Thanks to everyone for helping me start this life and being very understanding with the extremely odd hours.

Tom Williams: Usually the Minstrel's "Dark" director, Tom is thrilled to be directing a comedy for the Minstrels. For Minstrel Tom has directed "Frankenstein", "Dial M for Murder", "Wait Until Dark", and "Deathtrap." His other directing credits include "Lend Me a Tenor", "Witness for the Prosecution", "A Shot in the Dark", "Come Back Little Sheba", and "It's a Bird, It's a Plane", "It's Superman". Some of his favorite roles are The Creature in "Frankenstein", Banjo int The Man Who Came to Dinner", Leon in "Fools", Det. Sgt Trotter in "The Mousetrap", Rick Carlyle in "The Butler Did It, Again!" among many others. Thanks once again to Ray and Debbie for a wonderful opportunity to stage a Minstrel show.
